An Improved Equilibrium Optimizer for Solving Optimal Power Flow Problem

With the rapid development of economy, quality power systems has assumed an increasingly prominent influence on people’s daily lives. In this paper, improved equilibrium optimizer (IEO) is proposed to solve optimal flow (OPF) problem. The algorithm uses chaotic pool enhance information interaction between individuals. addition, a nonlinear dynamic generation mechanism introduced balance global search and local capabilities. At same time, golden sine strategy update individual position ability jump out optimums. Sixteen benchmark test functions, Wilcoxon rank sum 30 CEC2014 complex function optimization results show that better searching than basic optimizer, as well faster convergence more accurate solution other optimizers metaheuristic algorithms. Finally, applied standard IEEE 30-bus for different objectives. obtained demonstrate solutions algorithms in literature solving
